The language course

15 hours of English lessons a week, taught by qualified native-speaker teachers and enriched by afternoon and evening activities — those too entirely in English.

Accommodation and meals

Students stay in the facilities of the Terraia organic district, in rooms for 2 to 6 people or in two-bedroom apartments; bathrooms may be en suite or shared per apartment. The main building has changing rooms, toilets and separate hot showers. Meals are full board at the farmhouse dining room, with locally sourced produce.

The workshops

Days alternate between lessons and workshops, all run in English and all rooted in the life of the farm.

• A Farmer's Day: a guided tour of the teaching farm
• The Hive and the World of Bees: how a hive is built, honey tasting and candles made from its wax
• Aromatic Salt: gathering herbs on the farm and preparing the sachets
• Hands in the Dough: the cook teaches pizzette using the farm's own eggs and flour
• Sport: beach volleyball, beach tennis, basketball and padel with a qualified instructor
• The Woods, Then and Now: a walk to rediscover the bond between people and nature

Outings

The programme includes one outing a week: a walk up to the top of one of the hills in the organic district, with a packed supper. There are also free afternoon outings to Spoleto, Bevagna, Scheggino and other towns, or along the river Nera and the Spoleto-Norcia trail.

Fees and dates

Registration fee £1,250 for 7 nights and 8 days, with an Early Bird offer valid until 18/12/2025. The 2026 edition ran five sessions, from 10 June to 22 July. Fees and dates need updating to the edition currently on sale.
