Bedales

The centre

A prestigious boarding school in the English countryside of Hampshire, inside the South Downs National Park, a few minutes' walk from the town of Petersfield and a short distance from the beautiful historic city of Bath. Founded by English author and educator John Haden Badley in 1893, Bedales is famous for being the UK's first co-educational boarding school.

The language course

After a placement test, needed to determine the right class level, the 30 hours of English lessons begin, enriched by afternoon and evening activities. At the end of the experience students receive a Summer School certificate of attendance, valid for school credits.

Accommodation

Double, triple or quadruple rooms with shared bathroom in the flats, all refurbished in winter 2026. Full board at the college canteen, with a meal voucher for full-day trips and a vegetarian menu always available.
