The center
Our New York Residential Summer Center is located on the safe and attractive campus of Mount Saint Vincent University in Riverdale. Riverdale is green and prosperous, but is only 30 minutes by train from Grand Central Station and New York City's hustle and bustle. JFK, La Guardia and Newark airports are all less than 1 hour by bus or taxi. This course has been specially designed for teenagers and teenagers who want to experience the famous New York City.
The language course
30 total hours of lessons, usually in the morning. After a placement test, necessary to determine the class to which they belong, classroom lessons will begin, embellished with afternoon and evening activities.
At the end of the experience you will receive a certificate of attendance at the Summer School, valid for school credit purposes.
Accommodation
Residential accommodation generally in doubles within the campus in comfortable rooms with modern shared bathrooms and common areas on each floor.
Unless otherwise requested, the university mixes housing according to the age and nationality of students, to offer them the opportunity to meet new friends from different countries and encourage them to speak English as often as possible.
Meals
Full board at the college canteen. Packed lunch or dinner out for full day trips.
Discover half board option (breakfast and lunch with free dinner) at the college canteen.
Facilities
Modern campus with green spaces, outdoor soccer field with Hudson River view, modern classrooms, multipurpose sports hall, student rooms, dance studio.
Excursions
The Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Times Square, Empire State Building, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Greenwich Village and Soho, Museum of Natural History, Brooklyn Bridge and Ground Zero, Six Flags Great Adventure, Top of the Rock. Excursions to Manhattan are organized by public transport.
Discover option: one excursion per week included in the package, plus various optional excursions that can be purchased on site.
Examples: One World Center $40, Empire State Building $52, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island $21, Top of the Rock $42, Broadway Show from $80, etc…

Young Learners Early Bird Registration Fee

€ 4870 (valid until 30/11/2025)

The registration fee of the package includes 2 weeks with all the services mentioned above plus flights, transfers to and from the foreign airport and transport for excursions, medical baggage insurance and Flight Base cover (see the FAQ of the site for more information)
