We personally know all our companions who, in addition to being absolutely reliable, are also highly selected for their linguistic and teaching skills. You will find our staff always available to provide you with advice both for choosing the center and for educational programs and related activities. Our group leaders will always be together with the children, from departure to return, and will be an irreplaceable point of reference for them.

Group leaders and students can also and above all count on the daily presence of the local staff selected by us who are available for every need (center director, didactic director, welfare manager, animators and teachers), and with whom Imagine1World is constantly in contact.

Health care is guaranteed by both local doctors and the insurance company with which a policy is taken out covering the participant for the duration of the stay.

To ensure quality and safety we use scheduled flights, primarily direct (when possible) and with transfers to and from the college included in the price.

In some programs it is possible to live as a family. The host family is selected respecting the requests indicated on the booking form and inspected by our local partners. Depending on the request, accommodation can be in single or double rooms with same-sex peers, Italians or foreigners. Participants consume breakfast and dinner with their families, while for lunch it is the responsibility of the school. In some cases it may be necessary to use public transport to reach the school and the family or the local referring staff will provide all the necessary information.

All the centers are of the highest quality standard, equipped with modern infrastructure but at the same time fascinating and traditional. They are often immersed in large green spaces, in a controlled and comfortable environment.

Whether it is a university college or a boarding school or other, the facilities we have selected are a protected place, where the classrooms, the canteen, the accommodations, the common rooms and the spaces for sports and / or recreational activities are located a short distance away. The rooms are single, double or with multiple beds depending on the programs, as well as the services can be in the room, or located on the floors. Generally boys and girls sleep in separate corridors or floors.

An intense recreational program is combined with the language course, which completes and further enriches the training experience. The mother tongue staff organizes social and cultural activities every afternoon and every evening. A different program is prepared in each center based on the age of the participants and their interests, using the sports equipment of the centers, as well as short excursions in the city center with walks and cultural visits. In addition, a few days are planned for a full day excursions by private means, to discover the most beautiful and characteristic places of the host nation. The excursions are entirely chosen by Imagine1World, as opposed to other agencies to which they are “imposed”.

Imagine1World only works with schools recognized by the trade associations of the various countries. The teaching staff is made up of teachers qualified to teach and in possession of a specific diploma to teach foreign children. They operate coordinated by a didactic director and often take part in the recreational and cultural activities proposed during the activities. At the beginning of the course, students take an online or written diagnostic test and even an oral test, in order to evaluate which class is most suitable for the learner. The classes consist of about 15 students of different nationalities, with linguistic levels from beginner to advanced. The course in the Summer Camp is 30 hours of classroom lessons, which give the right to a certification that generates school credits.

IELTS, Trinity, Cambridge, ESB, GESE and CAE exams can be agreed in advance.

Electronic Travel Authorization in the UK

The United Kingdom has announced the need to activate an electronic travel authorization (ETA), a system that will influence millions of European travelers, accustomed to travel freely for short stays without the need for a visa. This system will be implemented in different phases starting from 2025 and provides for significant changes to the way EU citizens enter the United Kingdom, then to England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The British government has formalized the next phase of implementing the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) for the 83 nationalities that currently do not require a visa to travel to the United Kingdom which will last about 6 months.

The ETA will be a digital travel permit that visitors must obtain before leaving the UK. It is mandatory for all travelers, including children and infants, who do not require a short stay visa or who do not have an immigration status in the UK. This system will cover 83 nationalities which, until now, did not need a visa for short stays in the country, according to the following calendar.

Implementation Timeline:

  • For the rest of the world: applications can be submitted starting from 27 November 2024, with mandatory ETA from 8 January 2025.
  • For EU/EEA countries, including Italy: the opening of applications will be on March 5, 2025, and the ETA obligation will start from 2 April 2025

The ETA application process will be entirely digital. Travelers can apply through the “UK ETA App” mobile app available for iOS and Android, or through the official Gov.uk website. (Apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) – Gov.uk) It is important that travelers use the passport with which they intend to travel at the time of the application, as the ETA will be linked to that document.
The system is already in place for the citizens of Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, who already need an ETA to travel to the United Kingdom. All other nationalities will have to apply once the implementation is completed.

The cost of each ETA is 10 pounds (about 12 euros), and once approved, it remains valid for two years or until the passport used for the request is expiry, allowing multiple entrances to the UK for stays of up to six months.

The UK Tourist Board, Visit Britain, recommends applying for the ETA at least 3 days before leaving for Britain.
